Frequently asked questions

Is DentalTripMexico a travel agency?

No. We're an independent guide to dental trips to Mexico — destinations, costs and verified clinics. We don't sell packages or take booking fees from you.

Can I really turn dental work into a vacation?

For big cases, yes. A full arch that costs $30,000 in the US is around $10,000–14,000 in Mexico — the difference covers flights and a week somewhere good, and you still come home ahead. Small work isn't worth the trip.

Which destination should I pick?

Border towns like Los Algodones are cheapest and fastest if you drive. Cancún, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos cost more but are genuine vacation spots. Match it to the work you need and how you want to recover.

Is the dentistry any good?

In serious clinics, yes — same implant brands, US- or Mexico-trained specialists. The safety guide explains how to vet a clinic and what to get in writing.
